Jennifer Lawrence is pregnant; expecting first baby with Cookey Maroney

Hollywood actress Jennifer Lawrence is pregnant with her first child, media reports confirmed.

Jennifer Lawrence and hubby Cookey Maroney, who began dating each other in 2018, are expecting their first child together. The couple tied the knot two years before in Rhode Island.

Maroney is a director of the Gladstone Gallery, an art gallery with locations in New York City, Los Angeles and Brussels. The couple had also confirmed their engagement in February 2019.

She was also spotted with her blossoming baby bump during a walk in New York City on Wednesday.

The Don’t Look Up star, earlier, opened about the relatively easy wedding planning in 2019.

“I’ve been in a good place. I haven’t been neurotic about it. I’m, like, too lazy to be neurotic,” she said. “I saw a dress I liked. I was like, ‘That’s the dress.’ I saw a venue, I was like, ‘Cool, we got the venue.’ ”

Also, while speaking about her better half, Lawrence had said that he was “the greatest human being I’ve ever met”.

She told on the podcast that why she decided to marry him: “I don’t know, I started with the basics: ‘How do I feel? Is he nice? Is he kind?’ It’s just — this is the one, I know that sounds really stupid but he’s just, he’s — you know. He’s the greatest person I’ve ever met, so I feel very honoured to become a Maroney.”
