BTS Star Jung Kook tested COVID-19 positive after arrival in US, Hence Grammy Awards are now scheduled to be determined later

On 29^th of March 29, 2022 BIGHIT MUSIC stated that, one of the BTS star Jung Kook has been tested positive for COVID-19 after arrival in United State on 28^th March (PT). While the singer is facing mild sore throat as a symptoms, as reported he will be under self-quarantine. The local authorities’ guidelines will be deciding the impending schedule for the member including Grammy appearance and concert in Las Vegas.

The BIGHIT MUSIC is among the discussions with the organizers of award show for Jung Kook’s participation, also apologized for causing concern to fans.

This is BIGHIT MUSIC.

We would like to provide you with some information on BTS member Jung Kook being diagnosed with COVID-19.

Jung Kook was tested negative on the PCR test in Korea and has departed for the United State on Sunday, March 27^th (KST) in preparation for the Grammy Award performance.

After arriving in Las Vegas, he felt a slight discomfort in his throat and promptly took rapid PCR test (COVID-19 molecular PCR test) and a standard PCR test (COVID-19 quarantine PCR test) on the afternoon of Sunday, March 27^th (PT).

While being under self-quarantine as a proactive measure, the result of both tests came back positive, and Jung Kook was confirmed with Covid-19 on Monday, March 28(PT).

Jung Kook has been currently under self-quarantine and treatment, following the guideline of health authorities in United States. He is not exhibiting any symptoms other the mild sore throat, and we will attentively monitor his health during quarantine.

Jung Kook’s participation in the later schedule in the United States will be determined by the local regulations on COVID-19, while we are actively in discussion with awards organizer.
