Kate Middleton and Prince William stepped out for the Commonwealth Day service, one of the British royal family’s most important events of the year, and the Duchess wore a monochrome ensemble.
Kate accessorised her outfit with a Catherine Walker fascinator. For the exquisite look, her dark hair was done down. In a navy suit with a light blue tie, William complemented Kate.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made an appearance just days after William was seen off duty in London with his six-year-old daughter Princess Charlotte attending a classmate’s birthday party. Charlotte attended a pizza dinner at the Italian restaurant Il Pagliaccio for a fellow Thomas Batterseas student. The Daily Mail obtained exclusive information regarding Charlotte and William’s arrival, including how distinct it had to be from that of other visitors in order to assure their safety.
The outlet reported that William dropped Charlotte off at the party. Italian newspaper La Stampa obtained footage of their entrance that showed the duo coming out of one of three SUVs that stopped in front of the venue. Several bodyguards entered the restaurant first, then Charlotte and William followed, with Charlotte “confidently” walking through ahead of her dad, the Daily Mail wrote. William followed, “carrying a large gift wrapped in pink paper, before returning several hours later to pick her up,” the Daily Mail added.
William and Kate have done an excellent job of keeping their children out of the public eye and protecting their privacy.
They do, however, give brief glimpses of their children on their birthdays.
When Prince Louis turns four on April 23, the family will most likely maintain their custom of sharing images Kate took of the youngest royal.
