On Mother’s Day, March 27, British Queen Elizabeth II sent warm greetings to all those enjoying Mothering Sunday (presumably including Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle).
To commemorate the day, Buckingham Palace released an unseen photo of the Queen with her mother and sister, along with a touching note from the queen.
The palace used a Tulip flower emoji to convey Queen Elizabeth’s message.
“Wishing all those celebrating today a very special Mothering Sunday. #MothersDay.” the Queen writes in her letter.

The royal fans were eager to respond with heart emojis in the comments area.
At Windsor Castle, Queen Elizabeth is spending Mother’s Day with the royal family.
Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, has returned to the UK from a Caribbean tour to spend the day with her children, while Meghan Markle will do so in the United States on May 8.
