Prince Harry vowed about his future children before marrying Meghan Markle

It’s safe to imagine that Royal Harry’s life is anything from average as a real-life prince.

From standing down as a senior royal to moving to California in the United States and welcoming two children with wife Meghan Markle, the 37-year-personal old’s circumstances have altered dramatically in recent years.

While the Duke of Sussex has had a tumultuous few years, with his entire life under investigation, one thing remains at the top of his priority list: ensuring a normal existence for his children.

Even before marrying Meghan Markle in 2018, Harry made it plain that he wanted any future children to have as regular a life as possible, much as his mother, Princess Diana, did for him.

People would be “amazed by the everyday life William” and himself live, Harry admitted in 2017, which is clearly something immensely important to him.

“Thank goodness I’m not completely cut off from reality. People would be amazed by the ordinary life William and I live. I do my own shopping. Sometimes, when I come away from the meat counter in my local supermarket, I worry someone will snap me with their phone,” he told Newsweek.

“But I am determined to have a relatively normal life, and if I am lucky enough to have children, they can have one too. Even if I was king, I would do my own shopping.”

If Prince Harry’s present lifestyle is any indication, he’s kept his word after admitting that he and Meghan rescued hens from a factory farm and now spend most of their time caring for the animals at home.

While riding around LA on an open-top bus with James Corden, he stated that his son Archie had received a waffle maker from his great-grandmother, The Queen.
