Priyanka Chopra stuns in a black sequin saree at pre Oscars event

Priyanka Chopra, a global celebrity, co-hosted a pre-Oscars event honoring South Asian cinematic brilliance ahead of the 94th Annual Academy Awards ceremony on March 27.

Priyanka Chopra chose a stunning black sequined sari and channeled her inner desi-girl avatar for the star-studded event in Beverly Hills, California.

In her post, the Fashion girl wrote, “What a special honour it was to cohost a pre-oscar celebration honoring this year’s 10 South Asian Oscar nominees, and the friends, family, and colleagues who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make all of this possible. Last night gave me all the feels, and filled me with so much pride for how far our community has come. The future of entertainment is looking bright.”

The Bajirao Mastani actress took to Instagram on Thursday to post beautiful photos from the event with other South Asian stars Riz Ahmed and Aziz Ansari. PeeCee also expressed her pride at being one of them in her message.

Mindy Kaling, Kumail Nanjiani, Bela Bajaria, Maneesh K. Goyal, and Shruti Ganguly were among the celebrities that attended the event.

Meanwhile, the Matrix: Resurrections actress, who has kept a quiet profile since giving birth to her first child through surrogate in January, will next be seen in the online series Citadel and the film Text For You.
