Sophie Wessex follows one royal beauty rule that Kate Middleton does not
There are various stylistic standards that members of the royal family must follow when out on official travels; nevertheless, one royal lady appeared to break this rule lately.
During her visit to New York City, the Countess of Wessex wore berry-colored nail lacquer, violating the royal edict that royal ladies should only wear nude or neutral nail varnish. It’s a royal taboo that the Duchess of Cambridge has broken as well, as she was a fan of bolder colours before marrying Prince William.

Kate hasn’t even worn nail polish since becoming a full-time royal. She wore a one-of-a-kind colour combination for her wedding, which was created by combining two colours.
After one layer, the pure, pinky nude tint offers nails a blush-toned colour that is chip-resistant and opaque.
Despite this breach of royal decorum, Sophie has dazzled us with some stunning ensembles during her trip in the ‘Big Apple.’

The Countess wore one of her favourite designers, Victoria Beckham, on Tuesday, looking elegant and beautiful in a jacket and flared trouser combo.
Sophie paired her bottle green attire with a ‘Rose Cloudy Floral Silk’ button-down top, giving her stylish workday a spring-like atmosphere. The queen looked stunning in her outfit, which she paired with a pair of Jimmy Choo croc-embossed leather pumps.
She wore her blonde hair in a chic low ponytail, accentuating her lovely features with copious mascara, rosy blush, and a soft pink lip.
