Stephanie Beatriz may have done the most rosa thing she’s ever done! During the recording of one of her biggest Encanto singles, the Brooklyn Nine-Nine alum revealed in an interview that she was actually having labour pains. Beatriz recently appeared in the critically acclaimed Disney blockbuster musical Encanto, which will be released on November 26, 2021.

Beatriz, who is best known for playing Rosa, on NBC’s comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine, said that she was in labour while recording the song Waiting on a Miracle for the film in an interview. “I didn’t want to tell anyone at Disney because I didn’t want anyone to freak out,” Beatriz said, recalling how close she came to not being able to perform the song at all. She went on to say, “When we were supposed to record that day, I was already feeling contractions. ‘Well, fingers crossed I finish the song before [the baby] arrives!’ I thought.”

Beatriz’s adorable little Rosaline was born the day after the recording day. Rosaline’s birth date has remained a mystery. However it is known that she was born in August.
