Tristan Thompson brags about being ‘always late’ after his baby mama Maralee Nichols demands ‘$47K in child support per month.’

TRISTAN THOMPSON boasted that he’s “always late” in an Instagram caption, which enraged many fans.

Maralee Nichols, the NBA star’s baby mama, had previously demanded “$47K a month in child support” for their newborn son, which he allegedly “refuses” to pay.

On Saturday, Tristan, 30, posted a pair of street photos to his Instagram page.

In both casual photos, he wore a large gold necklace and a Supreme tee shirt with sunglasses.

With a devil, shushing face, and wink emoji, he captioned the post, “They say good things take time, that’s why I’m always late.”

Maralee had an affair with Tristan while he was exclusively dating Khloe Kardashian, 37, and gave birth to their son Theo on December 1.

Last month, she claimed that he refuses to pay child support and has made “no attempt” to meet their son.

Fans flooded the comments section, believing he was aiming for that.

“Late with that child support,” one said, while another added, “Oh, that’s why the child support is late?!!”

“You’re always late paying your baby mama’s checks,” wrote a third.

“There are always excuses!” slammed a fourth.

In addition, on Saturday, the athlete posted a cryptic Instagram Story with a similar tone.

“Your greatest test will be how you deal with people who have mistreated you,” he wrote, along with two more shushing face emojis.

Despite reportedly being ordered to pay her $40,000 per month, Maralee’s representative claimed Tristan has “done nothing” to support his son.

“Despite news reports to the contrary, Tristan Thompson has done nothing to support his son,” Page Six’s Harvey Englander said last month.

‘HE HAS DONE NOTHING’

“He has made no attempt to meet their son and has made no financial assistance.”

Earlier this month, she demanded that he pay her $47,000 per month as well as $1 million in legal fees.

Maralee claimed in legal documents obtained by Us Weekly that the Chicago Bulls player has a “income of $9.7 million alone.”

Morghan Leia Richardson, a New York marriage lawyer, told HollywoodLife that Tristan will have to pay until the newborn reaches the age of 18.

Tristan also has a three-year-old daughter, True, with his ex-wife Khloe.

He also has a 5-year-old son named Prince, whom he shares with his ex Jordan Craig and for whom he currently pays child support.

In a rare selfie, Tristan called Prince his “best friend” on Instagram.

Tristan admitted to being the father of Maralee’s baby son one month after his birth in January 2022 and apologised to Khloe for “humiliating” her.

The basketball player claimed his relationship with Maralee was a one-night stand before admitting they met up for sex several times.

According to legal documents, they had a four-month affair that lasted from December 2020 to March 2021.

Khloe finally spoke out about Tristan’s scandal after months of silence, during a cover storey for Variety and ahead of her Hulu series.

She said: “I wish I never had to talk about that because it’s not a fun thing to talk about.

“But it is part of my journey in life, so we will see it on the show.”
