At a special memorial ceremony on Tuesday, Queen Elizabeth paid tribute to her late husband, Prince Philip.
The Service of Thanksgiving for the Duke of Edinburgh, who died in April at the age of 99, featured musical selections chosen by the prince himself as well as flower arrangements inspired by Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip’s wedding day.
The 95-year-old monarch also paid tribute to her 73-year-old husband through her fashion choices. The Queen wore a unique shade of green as a complement to Philip, and she wasn’t the only one. Princess Anne and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall were among those who wore the hue.

The dark green hue is the color of Prince Philip’s official livery. Known as “Edinburgh Green,” it has been used for staff uniforms and private cars. A green Land Rover was also used to carry Prince Philip’s coffin at his funeral last April.
Queen Elizabeth also wore a brooch that is believed to be a gift from Prince Philip.

The monarch was joined by several members of the royal family, including Prince William and Kate Middleton, who brought their oldest children, Prince George, 8, and Princess Charlotte, 6, to the service to honor their great-grandfather.
Kate opted for a black belted polka dot dress by Alessandra Rich, teamed with a wide-brimmed hat, while Charlotte wore a navy wool coat by Amaia.

On Tuesday, Queen Elizabeth was surprisingly led to the ceremony by her son Prince Andrew. This is Prince Andrew’s first public appearance since his sexual assault case with complainant Virginia Giuffre was resolved.
“It demonstrates how much she loves and believes her son,” royal expert Robert Jobson said. “Many people will now trust the Queen’s word and judgment, just as they did when she declared Camilla to be Queen’s Consort.”
According to Jobson, who wrote Prince Philip’s Century, there was discontent among senior members of the family “But she remained adamant.
