After returning to Los Angeles after a trip to Barbados with his pregnant girlfriend Rihanna, A$AP Rocky was detained.

According to NBC News, the rapper was detained as he stepped off his private jet on Wednesday in connection with a shooting in November 2021.

The rapper was being investigated by the LAPD for a gunshot that occurred on November 6, according to the publication.

The victim told authorities that A$AP Rocky and two other persons approached him with a firearm after surviving the incident.

The victim also claimed that Rihanna’s boyfriend fired multiple shots at him, one of which grazed his left hand.

Rakim Mayers, alias ASAP Rocky, was detained in connection with the November shooting in the Hollywood neighbourhood, the LAPD revealed on social media on Wednesday.

“On November 6, 2021, about 10:15pm, an argument between two acquaintances happened,” they wrote in a statement regarding the event.

“…The disagreement became heated, and the suspect fired a revolver at the victim.”

“The victim suffered a slight injury as a result of the event and sought medical attention afterwards.”

“The suspect and two other individuals fled the area on foot after the gunshot.”

A$AP Ferg was arrested for assault with a dangerous weapon at Los Angeles Airport on Wednesday as a result of an investigation.

A$AP Rocky has been in Barbados with Rihanna, spending time with her friends and family in preparation for the birth of their first child together.

Rumors of the pair breaking up were all over the internet just before they jetted out on vacation.

According to the reports, A$AP had cheated on the 34-year-old with Amina Muaddi, a shoe designer.

Amina addressed the claims that A$AP Rocky was disloyal.

She labelled the infidelity accusation “false rumour” on her Instagram stories.

She added that she didn’t believe the “false chatter” would be taken seriously at first, but that following a media frenzy, she felt compelled to respond to the charges.

According to TMZ, a source claimed that the accusations were false.

Rihanna and A$AP Ferg were photographed at a Caribbean island airport before heading off to Barbados, just days after adultery claims surfaced earlier this month.

As A$AP carried bags, they were spotted heading out together, flanked by their entourage.

Rihanna’s boyfriend was seen out on a dinner date with the singer just before returning to Los Angeles.

She wore a barely-there black dress that showed off her developing baby bulge and stepped out sans undergarments.

A large portion of the top was just a bra, while a large chunk of the bottom was just a crisscrossed string.

The dress was long enough to cover her thighs and was knotted at the bottom.

Rihanna’s hand obscured the top of her calf, but she didn’t appear to be wearing any underwear underneath the tiny dress.

Her breast tattoo peeked out from behind her dress, and her nails were crimson with white dots.

Meanwhile, A$AP Mob wore a green and white trucker hat, trousers, and a white graphic T-shirt.

Rihanna and A$AP Ferg originally met in 2013 and began dating in 2020.

In January, the couple revealed that they are expecting their first child together.
