Anubhav Sinha and Rajkummar Rao team up for a pandemic anthology

Rajkummar Rao is a well-known actor. In his ten-year career, Hamari Adhuri Kahani has collaborated with several talented directors. While he was enjoying the success of his last film Badhaai Do, he was rumoured to have finished shooting his next film Bheed. Anubhav Sinha’s Bheed is a social play. While Bheed has yet to be released, Rajkummar will soon reunite with Anubhav.

According to a story in Mid Day, the actor-director team would reunite for a pandemic anthology. According to the source said, “When Anubhav shared the premise of his short film with Raj, it resonated with him. The director felt Raj is someone who connects with the movie on a personal level. Casting is key for Anubhav, and he almost always knows from the get-go who he is envisioning in the role. He felt Raj was the perfect choice for the part.”

Anubhav Sinha’s anthology will comprise short films by Sudhir Mishra, Hansal Mehta, and Ketan Mehta, among others. Previously, Sudhir Mishra’s short film featured Taapsee Pannu and Parambrata Chatterjee. Taapsee stated she is excited to work with Sudhir Mishra on the short film, which would be a socio-political drama spanning two generations.
