The Cannes Film Festival’s true contest has added another three motion pictures: Léonor Serraille’s Un Petit Frere, Albert Serra’s Tourment sur les iles and Charlotte Vandermeersch and Felix Van Groeningen’s The Eight Mountains.
On Thursday, other new increments to the Cannes setup incorporate the neighborhood French titles Serge Bozon’s Don Juan, Dominik Moll’s La Nuit du 12 and Chronique E’Une Liaison Passagere, by Emmanuel Mouret.
The furthest down the line increments to the Cannes celebration, which balance its true choice, follow seven days after the principle arrangement for the 2022 release was revealed.
Somewhere else, Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah’s Rebel has been chosen for the Midnight Screenings segment, while the Un Certain Regard sidebar has added four new titles: Emily Atef’s Plus Que Jamais; Maha Haj’s Mediterranean Fever; Le Blue du Caftan, by Maryam Touzani and Lotfy Nathan’s first film, Harka.
Cannes’ out of rivalry has customized Louis Garrel’s The Innocent, and there are exceptional screenings this year for the narrative Mi Pais Imaginario, by Patricio Guzman; Doroteya Droumeva’s The Vagabonds, another first time at the helm; Riposte Feministe, a narrative by chiefs Marie Perennès and Simon Depardon; Restos Do Vento, by Tiago Guedes; and Amandine Fredon and Benjamin Massoubre’s Le Petit Nicolas Qu’est-ce Qu’on Attend Pour Etre Heureux?
Z from The Artist chief Michel Hazanavicius will open the 75th Cannes Film Festival, with new movies from James Gray, George Miller and Hirokazu Kore-eda likewise in the arrangement.
