DJ Tim Westwood, a well-known TV and radio host, has been accused of sexual misconduct by many women.
According to the alleged victims, the former BBC Radio 1 DJ exploited them by abusing his position in the music business.
Predatory sexual behaviour and unwelcome touching are also included in the allegations, which are believed to have occurred between 1992 and 2017.
The claims were made public as part of a collaborative investigation by The Guardian and the BBC.
Meanwhile, Westwood, 64, has categorically rejected all of the charges. They were also utterly incorrect, according to a representative for The Guardian.
The seven women, all of whom are Black, provided The Guardian with comprehensive testimonies. They said they met Westwood as a result of his efforts. They were 17 years old, 19 years old, and 20 years old at the time of the claimed occurrences.
The alleged victims – whose identities have been disguised – also spoke in Tim Westwood: Abuse of Power, a new 30-minute documentary.
From 1994, when he joined to host the first national rap show in the UK, Westwood worked for nearly two decades on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 1Xtra.
