“The filmmakers breached the Rights of Citizens and in particular the transgender community by using a pejorative name Khusra,” according to the petition filed by Barrister Muhammad Ahmad Pansota. The petition also urged that all program be instructed to avoid using the pejorative word. And that the Trans community not be made into a laughingstock.

“The respondents, who are required by the applicable provisions and legislation to take action against the impugned conduct, could have condemned this mockery.” It also asked the court to take “severe action against the perpetrators who have violated human rights and have hurt the transgender community’s sentiments.”
