In an audio clip, Johnny Depp, Amber Heard chose ‘walking away’ over ‘bloodbath.’
On Monday, audio files from previous arguments between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard were played in a Virginia courtroom.
Domestic violence is being accused by the estranged couples, who are presently litigating in court.
“Sometimes they may flow into one another,” Depp said when the court questioned if he felt that violence is not simply physical, but also emotional.
Amber is heard criticising someone “throwing a cigarette out” on someone else in one of the court tapes, to which Johnny responds, “Shut up, big a**e.”
Depp is heard stating in another scene: “It’s vital to go away… Otherwise, it’ll be a savage slaughter… It was just like that on the island… It simply isn’t worth it.”
“No one in their right mind is going to choose slaughter over stepping away,” Amber responds.
“I’m not asking you to have a massacre over walking away; I’m asking you to work it out over extending it and making it greater,” she said.
Amber is heard admitting in a third clip that her connection with Depp is as destructive as previous ones.
“Because you’re a f****** c***,” Dep answers.
Depp has sued Amber over a Washington Post op-ed she penned in 2018 stating she was a victim of domestic abuse.
