Jesy Nelson broke up with on-off boyfriend Harry James, she has lived up with her nickname as the UK Baddie, by taking drastic action to keep alive her dream of being a solo star.

His ex-boyfriend was one of the masterminds behind her controversial debut music video Boyz and was credited as its sole editor. It gave Jesy her first Top Five hit as a solo artist and raking up millions of views online.

The duo who was close just months ago, have now un-followed each other on social media.

A source told: “It may seem savage but its business. The bottom line is that video almost derailed her ­chances of a solo career.

“Changes had to be made and this was one of them. Because of their history it was decided a working split was needed.”

Former couple first dated in 2017 before calling it quits less than a year later.

Meanwhile in August they rekindled their close bond, with Harry even jetting with Jessy on trip to Antigua, before shooting her video they flew to LA.
