Leigh-Anne Pinnock of Little Mix changes the lyrics to make a joke at Jesy Nelson
Leigh-Anne Pinnock of Little Mix made news recently, not for her performance, but for a jab at her former bandmate Jesy Nelson.
On Saturday in Belfast, the 30-year-old singer set the tone for their Confetti Tour’s first gig.
Pinnock, who was playing the song Gloves Up, allegedly changed the lyrics to claim that the famous female group never had four members.
According to sources, instead of singing “Legend of the four divas,” Pinnock screamed “three.”
This arose following a spat between the artist and the Boyz song-writer last year. Nelson was also chastised for her browned skin, which led to accusations of blackfishing.
Meanwhile, according to The Sun, Jade Thirlwall paid respect to the band’s heritage, stating, “We wouldn’t have gotten where we are today if it wasn’t for the love we have for each other.”
“We’ve been through every single thing together.” We’ve both shed tears. She went on to say, “We’ve laughed together.”
“We’re the best of friends,” she says. “We are now family, and no matter what happens, we will always be family,” she continued.
