Meghan Markle was wrongfully accused of Megxit: ‘Harry was the one who wanted out.’

According to author Tina Brown, Meghan Markle offered Prince Harry a cause to depart the United Kingdom.

Insiders claim that after marrying Meghan Markle, Harry, who was already a misfit in the royal family, was given a perfect opportunity to quit.

“You know, I believe—I think that it is true, though, that Meghan has been unfairly—you know, I mention this in the book,” Brown said in a video interview with the Washington Post. In some ways, I suppose calling it Megxit was a misnomer, because I believe Harry wanted out as well. And, you know, one of the advisors did say something to me that surprised me.

“One of the circle’s closest members told me, “You know, we always knew Harry was going to depart at some time.” He was in a bad mood. The Queen was well aware that Harry would most certainly want out at some point. They didn’t expect it to happen so quickly, and they didn’t expect it to happen in the way it did.

Continued Brown, Ms “And I believe it’s also fair to argue that Meghan provided Harry with the means to go since she was plugged in. She was familiar with the world of agents and agreements. This wasn’t Harry’s world, after all.

“But all of a sudden, he had a very worldly strategist in Meghan, whom he chose to trust over all of his other counsellors.” And I don’t believe that was such a wise decision.

“I believe that, certainly, I understand that he desired this more thrilling and inventive use of his—of his abilities. “However, I believe there was a lot that could have been done inside the royal family,” she added.
