Parveen Babi Birth Anniversary: Ranbir Kapoor once said Alia Bhatt is a perfect option for her biopic

Parveen Babi was an iconic actress, who was a mainstay of Bollywood movies in 70’s era. She left the world too soon, but her fans remember her even today and celebrate her birthday every year. Today is her 68^th birthday. Every year on her birthday we come across fan comments requesting her biopic. We don’t know, when this fan wish will come true. However, Ranbir Kapoor once suggested Alia Bhatt’s name for her biopic.

During Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year event in 2017, Ranbir and Alia appeared for a panel session. Alia was questioned about which actor’s biopic she would like to do. Alia responded, “Since Ranbir has been the supporter of my career, I’ll let him answer,”

Ranbir said, “The way she’s going, she can do her own biopic, but all jokes aside, Madhuri Dixit? Meena Kumari, Madhubala, Waheeda Rahman, Zeenat Aman, Parveen Babi. I think Parveen Babi would be a good biopic for her to do, no?”

Alia Bhatt recently appeared in the biopic of Gangubai Kathiawadi, and she did complete justice to the role, which further proved Ranbir’s point that Alia can do well in biopics.

Parveen Babi had a career spanning across 15 years. She was part of several superhit movies such as, Deewaar, Namak Halal, Amar Akbar Anthony, Majboor, Kaalia, Shaan, and Kala Patthar.
