Pregnant As a national hero, Rihanna loves her memories

On Friday, Rihanna, who is expecting her first child with A$AP Rocky, will mark her first ‘National Heroes Day’ as a national hero of Barbados.

Barbados’ prime minister’s first act after becoming the world’s newest republic was to designate Rihanna, the island’s most famous citizen, a national hero in November of last year.

“My very first #NationalHeroesDay as a National Hero of my nation Barbados!” the Umbrella singer captioned a photo from the “Pride of Nationhood” events on Instagram. What an honour it is to be alongside such outstanding men and women who have served our country in this capacity before me!”

“I will remember these memories for the rest of my life and continue to represent the Bajan people and my home island of Barbados to the best of my ability!!”
