Will Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, has stayed silent since her husband hit comedian Chris Rock on March 27 during the 2022 Oscars broadcast after he made a joke about Pinkett’s shaved head.
While fans have been waiting for Pinkett Smith to speak on the matter, the Matrix: Resurrections actress made a rare appearance at a red-carpet event in Los Angeles on Saturday.
Pinkett Smith, 50, was pictured with Shonda Rhimes, creator, head writer, and executive producer of Grey’s Anatomy, and Debbie Allen, a five-time Emmy-award-winning actress from the same series, at the grand opening of the Rhimes Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles.
For the occasion, the Red Table Talk host donned a flowing, shimmering gold dress with matching gold earrings. At the star-studded event, she was seen with Samuel L. Jackson and his wife LaTanya Richardson Jackson.
Meanwhile, as a result of the slap, the Men in Black actor has been barred from all Academy functions for the next ten years. He will, however, keep the Best Actor Oscar he won for his portrayal in King Richard, which he received only seconds before striking Rock.
