The film, starring Udhayanidhi Stalin, will be released on May 20

Director Arunraja Kamaraj’s highly anticipated film, ‘Nenjukku Needhi’, highlighting entertainer and lawmaker Udhayanidhi Stalin ahead of the pack, will hit the screens on May 20 this year.

Maker Boney Kapoor, whose creation house Bay View Projects is delivering the film alongside Zee Studios, took to Twitter to make the declaration.

He tweeted, “Imprint the date! ‘Nenjukku Needhi’ is coming to the enormous screens on May 20, 2022! #BornEqual.” Sources near the unit of the film say that ‘Nenjukku Needhi’ is a redo of the hit Hindi film, ‘Article 15’.

The film is being introduced by Romeo Pictures. Tanya Ravichandran plays the female lead in the film, which will likewise highlight a large group of stars including Bigg Boss title champ Aari Arjunan, Shivani Rajashekar, Mayilsamy, Suresh Chakravarthy, Ilavarasu and ‘Ratchasan’ popularity Saravanan.

The film, which has music by Dhibu Ninan Thomas, has cinematography by Dinesh Krishnan and altering by Ruban.
