Molly-Mae Hague has revealed that her boxer boyfriend Tommy Fury will celebrate his latest victory by devouring a mound of burgers before flying to America for a vacation.

On the undercard of his older half-brother Tyson Fury’s victorious world-title defence against Dillian White at Wembley Stadium, the social media star watched her fellow 2019 Love Island runner-up win his ninth professional bout against Daniel Bocianski.

Molly-Mae then said that the couple would be crossing the Atlantic, where Tommy is looking forward to celebrating his victory with gusto.

“We’re heading abroad for a holiday to America for his birthday,” the 22-year-old creative director of fast-fashion business PrettyLittleThing told BT Sport about his love of burgers (Tommy will turn 23 on May 7). That is something we are looking forward to.

“He’s give me a list of all the places he wants to eat at. He’s very excited to eat.

“His favourite things are burgers. There will be burgers everywhere literally.”

TNT in the ring, Fury knocked out his Polish opponent in the sixth round of their battle, but had to settle for a points victory because the fight went the distance.

Molly-Mae also revealed that, despite having a ringside seat, she does not look at Tommy when he is boxing and instead likes to watch his bouts on the big screen.

“I don’t actually watch him – I watch the screen,” she confessed. “That’s my way of dealing with it.

“To watch him in the flesh, it feels much harder. I watch him on the screen and that relieves a little bit of the stress, but I have got nail marks on my arm where they have been digging in.

“It’s just horrible. I would not wish it on my worst enemy honestly.

“The fear of watching your person in the ring is not nice. It really isn’t.”

Molly-Mae and Tommy were beaten in the 2019 Love Island final by Ireland rugby star Greg O’Shea and Amber Gill, but unlike the winners, who parted up immediately after the show, the runners-up currently live together in Cheshire.

She expressed her delight that the couple will now be able to spend more time together after Tommy’s rigorous training schedule began in February.
