Vivica A. Fox calls the occurrence, a “black-on-black crime,” that happened in the 2022 Oscars. Her comment has stirred exalt and acceptance by the audience.
She says that people were actually happy that she was being honest and genuine.
Furthermore, she adds, “They were like, ‘Well, you told the truth!’” and “Some people thought I was gonna maybe sugar coat it because, of course, I know all parties involved, but I was disappointed — I mean, really disappointed.”
She had been asked if she spoke to the “Man in black” actor, Will Smith, or his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, she replied that she hadn’t.
“I mean, listen, no one ever expected that to happen. All of us were literally blindsided and disappointed by a very unfortunate event that took the air out of the building. I told the truth. I always tell the truth. I think that’s how to operate.”
She applauded Smith for addressing the event soon after it happened.
“I just love that Will was man enough to stand up and to apologize that night, you know?” Further she added, “Who knows what got into him, but we’re gonna pray for him. He’s still Will Smith. He’s still Will Smith.”
He apologized to everyone there, and realized his biggest mistake life. After the statement from Oscars announcing that Smith will not take part in it for the next 10 years, she said, “Will learn from this and go forward.”
She says that this might be a huge lesson for him, as people learn from experiences.
