The first teaser trailer for Thor Love and Thunder has here, and it’s chock-full of details that Marvel Cinematic Universe fans will like. The return of Jane Foster – this time as Thor – is perhaps the most significant revelation.

By the end of Avengers: Endgame, Thor was in an unexpected state. The previous Avenger of Strength was overweight and lacked Mjolnir, his great hammer. On top of that, Thanos had destroyed his homeworld of Asgard, and he had abandoned his new home of New Asgard.

Since then, Taika Waititi, the director of Thor: Love and Thunder, the impending fourth film in the franchise, has released details about what fans may expect. The return of Jane Foster is the most intriguing of all.

The trailer also revealed a number of fresh details about the next Disney movie. The restoration of Valkyrie as the commander of New Asgard was, nevertheless, one of the most significant. New Asgard was last seen as a little coastal town that was just getting back on its feet.
