The show Batwoman has been officially cancelled.
The CW cancelled the DC Arrowverse show after three seasons, which introduced the world to lesbian superhero Ryan Wilder (played by bisexual actress Javicia Leslie) after she took over the mantle from fellow out heroine Kate Kane (Ruby Rose).
Caroline Dries, the showrunner, announced the terrible news on Twitter, much to the dismay of many of the show’s most ardent fans.
Just got the sad news that #Batwoman will not be seeing an S4. I am bummed, but full of gratitude. What an honor to make 51 episodes. So many inspiring, brilliant people contributed to this series. Thank you producers, cast and crew. Thank you, fans! We love you. ❤️
