Ali Zafar responds to comparisons to Shehzad Roy: ‘I was a child when he began!’

On Sunday, pop singer Ali Zafar took to Twitter to answer fan questions, and one of them resulted in a hilarious response for both Zafar and fans!

One fan responded, “Shehzad Roy aur ap kab bodhay (Old) hogaye???” When are you and Shehzad Roy going to get old? You’re still quite young).”

Zafar responded with a witty retort, “Btw, I was a kid when he started singing on TV!”

However, as amusing as Zafar’s response was, another fan pointed out some factual errors in the Rockstar crooner’s response, writing: “Love you both, I was a kid when you both started singing.” However, you’re 42, while @ShehzadRoy is 44. (just a 2-year gap) There isn’t much of an age difference to make such a remark.”

The user, Hamza Ali Haroon, went on to say, “If @ShehzadRoy started singing in the 90’s at the age of 15, then you must be 13.”

Meanwhile, Zafar responded to some more intriguing questions in the thread, including one that asked, “Do you have any plans to work in the drama industry?” Because Atif is also working.”

Zafar responded, much to the chagrin of his fans, “Ammm… Abhee nahi shayad (not right now, maybe).”
