Amber Heard wanted her op-ed to be published at the ‘ideal time’: ‘It was all a PR stunt.’
Amber Heard allegedly directed the publication of her op-ed to coincide with the premiere of Aquaman for’maximum attention.’
The discussion erupted when Johnny Depp’s legal team began their investigation.
“Didn’t [Amber Heard] tell the ACLU that she intended the op-ed to come out right after Aquaman was released?” Depp’s lawyer even said.
Mr Dougherty instantly weighed in, saying, “I believe that’s right.”
“I do recall that there was a talk about the ideal time for the op-ed piece,” he added.
This evidence was used by Depp’s attorneys to explain Amber Heard’s alleged marketing technique and how it was used to “raise” Ms Heard’s profile while Aquaman was still in theatres.
This was also supposedly intended for eventual usage in the box office.
