Amber Heard’s sister, claims Johnny Depp ‘joked about putting dog in microwave’

Whitney Heard Henriquez, Amber Heard’s sister, testified on their marriage during Johnny Depp’s defamation trial. Depp, 58, allegedly saw Heard, 36, photographed with another lady in 2013, and Henriquez testified under oath about it. The three were in a car when Henriquez heard a noise in the backseat, she added.

According to US Weekly, Henriquez claimed on Wednesday, May 18, “At some point, I heard the back window open, and he was holding out dog out the window,” added, “I froze, I was scared, I just remember thinking I knew how inebriated he was and the dog was very small. I thought if he twitched, she was just going to go out the window.”

She continued: “He brought the dog back into the car and was laughing this really scary loud, it was almost like a cackle. He made a joke about putting her in the microwave, putting the dog in the microwave.”

Henriquez found it difficult to see Heard and Depp’s tumultuous relationship. “It was like seeing a slow-motion gunshot in retrospect,” she recounted, detecting a shift in her elder sister.

Following her relationship with Depp, she reportedly stopped sleeping and became “so physically unwell” that she lost a large amount of weight. During her testimony, Henriquez also accused the Dark Shadows star of manipulating Heard during their marriage.

The trial between Depp and Heard follows the Oscar nominee’s December 2018 lawsuit against his ex-wife over an op-ed she wrote about her past with violence. She wrote the piece two years after her divorce from Depp, but she didn’t name him.
