Amber’s lawyer calls Johnny Depp’s behaviour to ‘narcissism’ as his lawyer eat sweet

The current defamation trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard has had its share of laughs. The reply of Johnny’s legal team to an innuendo from Amber Heard’s lawyer caused additional laughter online on Monday.

After Amber’s legal team asked an expert witness if Johnny eating sweets during the trial was an evidence of narcissism, one of Johnny’s lawyers is seen chewing on candy in a video from the courtroom proceedings.

On Monday, as Dr. David Spiegel, Amber’s expert witness psychiatrist, was testifying regarding Johnny’s mental health, the actor’s lawyer questioned, “We have seen Mr Depp during this trial doodling and eating candy, what if, any evidence would that suggest the has narcissistic traits.”

Johnny was observed giggling with his lips covered. His lawyer quickly raised an objection to the question, alleging that it was without merit, and the court upheld his objection.

Following this, Camille Vasquez, another member of Johnny’s legal team, was seen taking up a piece of candy from the table and eating it while waving and smiling at her colleagues. Her coworker, Ben Chew, grinned and glanced at her before selecting one for himself.

Several meme pages and fan accounts on social media shared the footage, which was part of the trial’s live feed. Many fans mocked Amber Heard’s lawyer for attempting to link candy consumption to narcissism. “Johnny ate breakfast today, he has narcissistic traits…”

Said one fan.  “Now we cannot even eat candy.” wrote another. Many others thought it was amusing that the attorneys mocked the implication by munching candy. One remark said, “The way his team giggled together and started eating candy (laughing emoji), best team ever.”
