Season six of Black Mirror is finally moving forward, according to Selection.
The hit Netflix show is currently in the casting process, according to the outlet, after its final season was released nearly three years ago.
Although little is known about the hit dystopian anthology series at the present, insiders have revealed that the next season may include more episodes than the last instalment.

Season 5 of the show had only three episodes, although each one lasted over an hour.
Season 5 featured a star-studded cast, including Miley Cyrus of Wrecking Ball, Anthony Mackie of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Topher Grace of That 70s Show, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II of Candyman.
Selection also reported that a source close to the show said it would be considerably more ‘cinematic’ in scope, with each episode being treated as a movie.

After Charlie Brooker and his innovative collaborator Annabel Jones left their manufacturing enterprise Home of Tomorrow in 2020, manufacturing came to a halt once more.
Endemol Shine Group, the parent company of Home of Tomorrow, still had the rights to Black Mirror and sold them to Banijay Group in the summer of 2020.
Season 5 included a number of celebrities, including Miley Cyrus, Anthony Mackie, Topher Grace, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.
Manufacturing came to a halt in 2020 after Charlie Brooker and his creative partner Annabel Jones quit their manufacturing company Home of Tomorrow.
Netflix was eventually able to reach an agreement with a division of Banijay Group to licence the show to the streaming giant.
In 2011, Channel 4 reintroduced Black Mirror. With the third season, which aired in 2016, it was relocated to Netflix.
The show has won numerous awards, including eight Primetime Emmy Awards and a Peabody Award.
