Chris Pratt remembers Jurassic World co-star Irrfan Khan as an ‘elegant man.’
In a recent interview, Chris Pratt recalled working with Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan on Jurassic World, describing the late actor as “elegant and powerful.”
In an interview with the Times of India, the Passengers actor discussed Irrfan, who died in April 2020 after a long battle with cancer.
“He was just such an elegant man… like, down to his fingernails,” the 42-year-old actor said. He had a certain elegance about him. He was also extremely powerful.”
“It’s a very rare combination to have such strength in softness,” Pratt added. And that’s what I mean by elegant – he could do very little while still accomplishing so much.”
“Just by his sheer presence, and his sheer charisma, that he would bring to a role,” the actor continued. “It was amazing how powerful one tiny flick of a brow or one tiny little move could be.”
Chris is currently anticipating the release of Jurassic World: Dominion, the third instalment of the film in which Irrfan played Simon Masrani, the owner of the theme park.
Chris will be joined by Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum in the Colin Trevorrow-directed film, which will be released in theatres in June 2022.
