Dave Chappelle, through a spokesperson, breaks his silence over the LA knife assault in the middle of a show.

The Hollywood Reporter has received a statement from Ms Carla Sims, the company’s spokesperson.

Ms Sims was described as stating in response to the knife assault mid-performance, “Chappelle’s performances at the Hollywood Bowl were epic and record-breaking, and he refuses to allow last night’s event to overshadow the joy of this historic occasion.”

“Dave Chappelle celebrated four nights of comedy and music at the Hollywood Bowl, surpassing sales records for a comic.”

For those who are unaware, the event occurred at the Hollywood Bowl, and the offender, Isaiah Lee, has now been charged with a $30,000 bond.
