Drew Barrymore wishes to have ‘unique conversation’ with Britney Spears

Drew Barrymore wishes to interview Britney Spears, “There’s not a ton of us out there who have publicly lost our freedom.”

During conversation with writer Rebecca Rubin, for magazine’s “Power Of Women” series, Barrymore told that Spears would be dream guest for her talk show.

She said, “We can have a unique conversation,”

“There’s not a ton of us out there who have publicly lost our freedom, had breakdowns in front of everyone, become punchlines and fought our way back.”

Spears’ conservatorship under her father Jamie Lynn Spears was dissolved in November 2021, while Barrymore was legally emancipated from her parents when she was 14 years old.

Spears and Barrymore have met in the past on several occasions. In deleted Instagram post, Spears explained Barrymore and Kate Hudson as “by far the 2 most beautiful people [she has] ever seen in [her] life”. Barrymore said, Spears’ words were “such a moment” for her.

Barrymore said, “I have so many feelings towards her,”

“We’re all listening, and I’m really excited for your book.”
