Following two horrible mass shootings in the United States in the last two weeks, Harry Styles has joined the battle to reduce gun violence, revealing on Instagram on Friday that his next North American tour will collaborate with the nonprofit group ‘Everytown for Gun Safety.’
Styles posted on Instagram in a statement, “Along with all of you, I have been absolutely devastated by the recent string of mass shootings in America, culminating at the latest in Robb Elementary School in Uvalde.”
He added,”On our North American tour, we will be partnering with Everytown who work to end gun violence, donating to support their efforts, and sharing their suggested action items.”
According to sources from Billboard, Styles would contribute revenues from the tour, along with Live Nation matching funds, totaling more than USD 1 million to the Everytown for Gun Safety Fund. He then read from the Everytown report, claiming that guns were “a primary cause of mortality for American adolescents and teenagers.”

Fans were also asked to engage in the Everytown project by texting “ACT” to 64433. Styles captioned the photo, “End gun violence.” An 18-year-old gunman entered Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, on May 24 and killed 19 pupils and two teachers.
The sad killing of innocent children, reportedly carried out by a highly armed 18-year-old white supremacist who opened fire and killed ten people at a Buffalo, New York supermarket, targeted and killed black consumers.
After a 20-year-old gunman killed 20 students and six adults at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newton, Connecticut, the attack on Robb Elementary School occurred over ten years later. According to Billboard, this is the 27th school shooting in the United States this year, which has also witnessed 212 mass shooting events in 145 days.
