Johnny Depp followed Jennifer Aniston on Instagram shortly after she started following the Hollywood star on the photo and video sharing app.

Depp’s Instagram account has seen a significant increase in followers since he began appearing in court in a case involving his former wife Amber Heard.
The actor has over 16.5 million Instagram followers.

The 58-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean star is suing Heard for defamation after she accused him of abuse.

Depp has accused Heard, another actor, of defaming him when she wrote an opinion piece about being a survivor of domestic abuse in The Washington Post in December 2018.

The trial, which is in its second week and is expected to last six weeks, is being presided over by a state court judge in Fairfax County, Virginia.
