Amber Heard takes stand again, claiming that she is ‘harassed, humiliated, and threatened’ on regular basis
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are now embroiled in a legal squabble.
In the most recent court hearings, Depp’s legal team responded to entertainment expert Kathryn Arnold’s statement, in which she likened Heard’s career to those of Jason Momoa, Gal Gadot, and Zendaya.
Analyzing Heard’s cinematic career, Arnold stated that if not for team Depp’s claimed “smear campaign” against her, the Aquaman actress would be enjoying the same level of success as Gadot, Momoa, and Zendaya.
During her testimony in court on Monday, May 23, Arnold said, “When you look at the time frame of when the Waldman statements came out [in 2020], and you look at what was going on with Heard’s career prior to the statement and what happened after the statement, it’s very clear to make that correlation.”
She added, “It would have been very reasonable to believe her career would have been on an upward trajectory of those other actors if not for the hoax allegations.”
During cross-questioning, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor’s lawyers pushed back on Arnold’s comparison and claimed that the careers of the aforementioned actors and Heard were poles apart.
The lawyers said that all of these actors had signed up to blockbuster franchises or had higher profile careers than Heard back in 2020.
Last week, Heard returned to the stand and revealed that her role in Aquaman 2 was significantly cut down amid her battle with Depp.
