Joyland receives a jury award at Cannes Film Festival

Joyland, directed by Saim Sadiq and produced by Sarmad Khoosat, and featuring Sania Saeed, Alina Khan, Sarwat Gilani, and Rasti Farooq, is not just a film but a source of national pride for Pakistan.

It wonderfully represented the country at the Cannes Film Festival. At the premiere of their film, our actors walked the red carpet and earned a standing ovation.

After its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, Joyland now has another feather in its crown. The film received the Jury Award in the UnCertain Regard Category, which is the competition’s second most prestigious award after the Palme d’Or, which is the highest.
