Katy Perry is storing all of her outfits in temperature-controlled warehouse for her daughter Daisy
Katy Perry closet is the stuff of teenage fantasies. Daisy Dove, her daughter, will have the opportunity to raid it one day.
Perry, 37, revealed that she has a large collection of her amazing red carpet dresses and costumes for her daughter.
“Everything is in a warehouse,” she explained, comparing it to the Clueless closet scene. “It’s all itemised by picture and number. Daisy is going to have a lot.”
Perry, who has a 20-month-old daughter with fiancé Orlando Bloom, said she’s currently obsessed with mommy-and-me clothing matching moments.
“It’s very cute,” she remarked, “because you only have a limited amount of time before they don’t want to wear what you choose,” she added.
Perry also revealed that the name of her daughter was inspired by a Meg Ryan phrase in the classic romantic comedy. You’ve Received Mail.
“She says in it, ‘Daisies are the friendliest flower,’ and it’s so true — a daisy could grow anywhere and it’s just so pure and sweet… it’s just right,” she explained, adding that her little flower is “very sweet.”
Daisy is currently the inspiration for Perry’s Katy Perry Collection footwear company, which she recently acquired full control over.

“Whenever I can slap a daisy anywhere, I will,” she said. “She’s brought so much joy to my life. And there is always joy when it comes down to my shoes. And fun. And always taking chances.”
Of buying back her brand, Perry said, “I’m thrilled to relaunch, now I get to steer it in such an incredible way. And maybe put a little more personality into it. And have a last and final say.”

During the epidemic, Perry and Bloom, who has a 10-year-old son Flynn with ex-wife Miranda Kerr, had daughter Daisy in August 2020. They’ve primarily kept their young child out of the spotlight this year, only mentioning her achievements on rare occasions.
“1 year ago today is the day my life began… Happy first Birthday my Daisy Dove, my love. ❤️,” the singer shared in a sweet message on Twitter for Daisy’s first birthday last year.
