Tom Park, the singer for the band Wanted, died in March at the age of 33, after an 18-month struggle with glioblastoma, an inoperable brain tumor.

Tom Parker’s widow Kelsey said that following his death, he pledged to’send her signs’ every day.

The Wanted singer died in March at the age of 33, after a nearly two-year battle with glioblastoma, an incurable brain tumour.

When he died, he was surrounded by close friends and relatives at the hospice. During his final moments, Oasis’ Live Forever was also playing in the background.

Explaining the sign she received, Kelsey said: “I was sitting there on this bench, crying, when I looked up and this feather fell down from the sky.

“I said to Tom before he passed away, ‘Will you give me signs every day’, and he said, ‘Yes’. I knew straight away it was him.”

She added to The Sun on Sunday : “I kept that feather, I still have it in a little glass pot on my dressing table.”

On April 20, Tom’s funeral was held, and fans were asked to attend and pay their respects to the singer.

Kelsey’s strong and heartfelt eulogy moved the audience to tears.

Tom’s relatives and friends were obviously moved by Kelsey’s pre-recorded speech, in which she stated Tom had “taught their children how to be courageous.”

In their 13 years together, Kelsey and her ‘soulmate,’ Tom, ‘lived a thousand lives,’ she added, adding that The Wanted star would still be alive if ‘love alone could have rescued him.’

Tom died tragically 18 months after receiving an inoperable brain tumor diagnosis, leaving behind his wife Kelsey and their two young children.

“You’ve shown our children how to be brave, courageous, and strong,” Kelsey said in her final goodbye to her husband.

“Even in our darkest days, we tried to stay positive. Positive Parker’s forever.

“[The children] will always know how much you loved them. And let’s be honest, they now have the best guardian angel looking over them through life and so have I.

“We will carry on your legacy forever.

“I just want to thank Noreen and Nigel (Tom’s parents) for raising the man I fell in love with and bringing him into the world because he is my world. Soulmates … that is what we are. You were my best friend but more.”

She went on to talk about their relationship before saying her final goodbyes with a ‘I love you’.

Prior to his death, he underwent 30 rounds of chemotherapy and 30 rounds of radiotherapy, as well as a three-week stay in Spain for specialized treatment.
