Kim Kardashian is being chastised for allegedly stealing Kanye West’s ex-Met girlfriend’s Gala appearance.

Kim Kardashian stole the show at the Met Gala in New York by wearing a dress once owned and worn by Marilyn Monroe.

Fans of the American TV personality and socialite have recognised some resemblance between her and Kanye West’s ex-girlfriend.

Kim, 41, attracted attention on the red carpet as she strolled arm-in-arm with boyfriend Pete Davidson while wearing the gown, which she paired with a white fur cloak over her shoulders.

Kardashian’s high-fashion outfit is strikingly similar to that of Amber Rose, who dated Kim’s ex-husband Kanye West from 2008 to 2010.

Many compared the 41-year-Met old’s Gala outfit to model Amber’s gold and nude-colored gown she wore to the Grammy Awards in 2014.

One person jokingly titled Kim’s image, “Amber Rose attends the Met Gala,” after sharing a close-up of the costumes.

“Omggggggg she looks like Amber,” another concurred, adding, “Amber is prettier/younger/looks more’real.'”

Kim Kardashian made news when she appeared at the famous fashion gala in New York wearing a nude, bejewelled gown worn by Hollywood star Marilyn Monroe to serenade US President John F. Kennedy in 1962. The gorgeous gown Kim wore to the Met Gala 2022 was originally purchased for $12,000 by Marilyn Monroe and is now worth at a whooping $5 million.
