Laura Carmichael secretly welcomes baby with Michael C Fox

In 1920s Downton Abbey, the upstairs-downstairs coupling would raise eyebrows, but Laura Carmichael and her co-star Michael C Fox live happily in North London in real life. Laura Carmichael and her Downton Abbey co-star Michael C Fox have had a baby.

In true Downton form, the actress plays Lady Edith Crawley, while Michael plays illiterate footman Andy Parker. The pair started dating in 2016 and welcomed their son Luca into the world in March of last year.

They reside together in North London and took some time off before the release of Downton Abbey: A New Era, the cinematic spin-off of the historical drama.

The new mother stole the spotlight at the A New Era film premiere in London earlier this week, where the cast of Downton Abbey were in attendance.

Laura Carmichael, Michelle Dockery, and Joanne Froggatt looked every bit the leading ladies as they joined the ensemble for the premiere of the sequel, which fans have been anticipating since the release of the first film in 2019.

Laura appeared on the red carpet in a gorgeous one-shoulder mini-dress with a big train and bow.

The famed Crawley family will take a surprise journey to the French Riviera after learning that family matriarch Dowager Countess Violet has received a villa from a previous lover in the Downton Abbey: A New Era sequel.

Hugh Bonneville and Penelope Wilton, among others, will reprise their roles in the upcoming sequel.

Dominic West and Hugh Dancy are among the newcomers to the star-studded cast of A New Era.
