Perrie Edwards recently opened up about her struggles while preparing for Little Mix’s tour after having a baby.
“I feel like me and Leigh-Anne should have gotten a letter from the doctor saying: ‘Perrie and Leigh have baby brain, go easy on them today,” the 28-year-old singer told The Sun.
“Baby brain exists! “Jade would take up the pattern in two seconds, and we’d be there for an hour doing the most mundane stuff and then forget what it was,” she continued.
“I’ve never struggled so hard for a tour,” Edwards added. I was afraid I was going to die!
“Our bodies weren’t prepared, and our brains weren’t prepared.”
Edwards praised Jade Thirlwall, saying, “Whether it hadn’t been for Jade, keeping the spirit up and the positive flowing, I don’t know if we’d have made it.”
Thirlwall said that her bandmates “had to adapt after having kids, and being able to go into full-on practise mode while nursing and having the infants there was really fantastic.”
