Prince Harry and Meghan Markle swap vehicles to escape paparazzi

When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle initially went to the United States after stepping down from their royal duties in 2020, they allegedly struggled to acclimate to the paparazzi culture in Hollywood.

Mark Karloff, a Los Angeles-based photographer, told The Daily Star that he saw both Harry and Meghan exchanging vehicles when they first got to the US, in an attempt to evade the incessant paps following them about.

“The first one was quite clear when they took the dogs for a stroll,” Karloff says. The second automobile, according to photographers and images I saw, was grey.”

“I would assume (evading paparazzi) if they have any type of advisors proposing anything to them, or they are thinking about it themselves, that’s pretty much the natural thing to do,” the Paparazzi Podcast host continued. But you’ll need at least two or three automobiles to get it out.”

“That’s definitely supposition, but it occurs a lot among higher-profile celebrities,” Karloff explained.

The photographer went on to say that while the couple may have believed their ‘cover was blown’ when photos of them appeared next to the automobiles, they must have quickly realised how persistent the photographers can be.

“This is LA, there are probably 200 to 300 photographers around, and they’re particularly eager for shots right now,” Karloff explained. If they were out and about, they could expect to encounter it on a regular basis if they visited any location.”
