
‘SNL’ presenter Selena Gomez is’really happy’ to be joined by Post Malone: ‘I think I’ve made it, Mom.’
Selena Gomez, the pop music diva, has revealed that she will headline Saturday Night Live on May 14, with rapper Post Malone as the musical guest.
The actress, 29, is overjoyed since this will be her first time hosting the late-night sketch comedy programme, which is in its 47th season.
Gomez will be joined by the Circles rapper, 26, who will perform as the episode’s musical guest in his first SNL appearance.
The Only Murders in the Building actress announced the news on Instagram on Friday, captioning a photo of the announcement, “Mom… I guess I’ve made it.”
She went on, “I’m grateful and happy. See you on May 14th!!!”
The SNL revelation follows huge news for the rapper, whose actual name is Austin Post, who revealed to PEOPLE this week that he and his fiancée are expecting their first child.
“I’m eager for this new chapter in my life; I’m the happy I’ve ever been, and I’ve been miserable for as long as I can remember,” Malone told PEOPLE. “It’s time to take care of my body, my family, and my friends, and to spread as much love as we possibly can every day.”
