Sona Mohapatra slams those who question Ira Khan’s birthday outfit

Sona Mohapatra is an Indian singer, songwriter, and composer. In addition to her own compositions, Mohapatra has remixed songs by David Bowie “Let’s Dance” and I “Afterglow” the latter of which has been particularly successful.

Sona Mohapatra has tweeted in support of Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan, stating that the young woman is 25 years old and does not want her father’s approval to continue her ambitions. Many internet users chastised Ira for wearing a bikini around her father, Aamir, when she uploaded photos from her birthday celebrations.

Sona wrote, “All the people outraging about Ira Khan’s choice of attire or linking it to what #AamirKhan said, did or didn’t in the past please note; she is 25. A free, thinking, adult woman. Is exercising her choices. Doesn’t need her dad’s approval or yours. BUZZ off. #Patriachy #India.”
