Sophie Turner is ‘grateful’ to have married Joe Jonas after Game of Thrones wrapped

Sophie Turner recently revealed that she is grateful to have married singer Joe Jonas following the conclusion of her blockbuster HBO drama Game of Thrones.

Turner told Elle UK magazine, “I’m delighted I had that next thing to move on to.” If I hadn’t discovered Joe, I’m sure I would have felt really adrift after Game of Thrones.”

Turner, who shot to prominence as Sansa Stark in the fantasy series, began dating Jonas in 2016.

She remembered how they “spoke for hours at a neighbourhood pub” and realised they had become “inseparable” at that point.

The pair married on June 29, 2019, and the wedding took place in France since “it was mutual ground for them.”

Turner felt lost after Game of Thrones ended, but it drove her into this “new chapter,” which she thought was “very exciting” and something for her to focus on.

“It was the ideal thing to go on to,” the X-Men star said.

“Jonas has enhanced my life by assisting me in overcoming years of depression,” she continued.

It should be noted that the couple is expecting their second child this year.

“We are overjoyed to be growing our family. “It’s the biggest blessing I’ve ever had,” she said.
