The defamation lawsuit involving Meghan Markle and her sister Samantha has taken a new turn

Meghan Markle’s estranged half-sister Samantha has filed a court filing demanding that Prince Harry’s wife be probed by her attorneys in a defamation action.

Samantha, 57, has launched a defamation case against Meghan, seeking £60,000 in damages, claiming that Meghan Markle’s statements about her childhood during an interview with Oprah Winfrey ruined her image.

Samantha now wants the judge to order Meghan to be grilled on tape and questioned for several hours in the case, according to the Mirror UK.

The newest development comes after Meghan filed a motion to dismiss Samantha’s defamation suit.”Our objective is to take this matter to a jury trial,” Samantha’s lawyer Jamie Alan Sasson told the Mirror UK.
