The weekend of Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee is approaching, and according to Express UK, Buckingham Palace has been compelled to devise two contingency plans to guarantee that everything runs well in the face of mounting health worries.

According to rumours, backup plans include numerous other members of the royal family filling in for the Queen at various significant events, and sources even claim that the Queen may not receive the Trooping the Colour salute for the first time in her 70-year reign.

Prince Charles, Prince William, and Princess Anne are set to take the Queen’s place at the event, which looks to be another huge step back from the monarchy.

According to the Express UK, Palace officials are considering having the Queen ride in a carriage and inspect the Troops before departing from the ceremony.

The monarch would then be represented by Charles, William, and Anne on horseback at the parade field, and the Queen would take to the balcony with other royals.

Another possibility is that the Queen merely appears on the balcony with working royals and skips the march.

However, both plans call for the Queen to make fewer and fewer appearances.

Another significant departure from previous ceremonies would be the absence of Prince Andrew, the former colonel of the grenadier guards, who was deprived of his military titles in January following his sex scandal.
